The video reviews the process and areas in which we can build scalable power and relevance within society.As Muslims we all talk about not wanting to be oppressed, marginalized or sidelined anymore… as a multi-cultural / multi-ethnic people however this becomes difficult as we constantly focus on our differences within our own communities as opposed to our similarities overall.   As a people we must first aspire to achieve economic relevance by creating and sustaining economic power within our society.   Standing at 6+ million Muslims spending over $150 Billion a year we have the opportunity iA.From the time the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) & his people withdrew from Mecca to form their own political community until just after World War I—almost exactly thirteen hundred years—Islamic governments ruled states that ranged from fortified towns to transcontinental empires.These states, separated in time, space, and size, were so Islamic that they did not need the adjective to describe themselves. A common constitutional theory, developing and changing over the course of centuries through the council of scholars combined with a sincere intention is what lead to their success... and this Empire started with the Prophet (P.B.U.H) simply building a Mosque and a Marketplace.. Usman talks through how to recreate this empire using the same footsteps and model the blessed Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) had done and how it can be achieved n a much shorter period of time given the advent of technology.  He discusses how a convergence of faith based technology platforms that run on universal guidelines and whose actions are not dictated by The Few can be that solution.  The model offers a means to circulate wealth and mobilize millions of people with very little effort in order to defeat those that oppress ourselves and the communities we live amongst.
